About colette
Hailing from the city of Newcastle, Australia. Colette Wilson is a true Novacastrian through and through.
For as long as she can remember, Colette has always loved to tell stories. As a young child, she would often write plays for herself and her cousins to act in at family gatherings. These plays were almost always romances about young princesses in dire need of rescuing from some foul witch or dragon. The hero of Colette's childhood plays was always played by Tom, a handsome boy who lived down the road, that Colette had a major crush on.
As Colette grew older, her stories became more and more mature and risqué. In high school she once received several weeks of detention as punishment for a short story called, 'Cardinal Sin', that she submitted during an English class. It was a short story about a sexually promiscuous nun who slept with every cardinal within the Vatican. (In hindsight, perhaps it wasn't the most appropriate story to submit, considering that Colette was educated within a Catholic high school.)
Now as an adult, Colette still loves to tell stories. Her tastes haven't changed much, her favourite stories to tell are still tales of romance. She still finds that her stories become more risqué with each passing year. She often wonders just how dirty her books will be by the time she reaches the age of ninety.
Colette holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art. She still lives in the city of Newcastle with her cat Milly, her dog Jim and the love of her life, her husband Tom Wilson. (Yes, the very same Tom, whom starred in all her childhood plays)
