Alice Miller should be content with her life. She has a decent stable job as a school librarian, she lives in a nice house in San Francisco with her mortgage all paid off, she has a loving husband who absolutely adores her, and she has two children who mean the world to her. Alice has achieved everything in her life that she had ever dreamed of growing up as a little girl.
But Alice isn’t content, Alice is bored.
Nothing in her life excites her anymore, not her job, not her family, nothing. But all that is about to change when Alice goes to Los Angeles for a work conference and meets a handsome stranger in a bar.
